Package your product for postal uses. The post office does have some regulations for placement of information in order to expedite their mailing process. Envelopes can seal on the long or the short edge. 

Business Sizes: No. 10 is 9½" X 4 1/8". A No. 9 is 8 7/8" X 3 7/8". A 6¾ is 6½" X 3 5/8".

Announcement Sizes: A2 is 5¾" X 4 3/8". A6 is 6½" X 4¾". A7 is 7¼"X 5¼".
